If you live or plan to visit Northwest Indiana, it's full of things to do with your kids to make for a perfect weekend. Whether you want to enjoy the nightlife or daylight of Indy, we have many activities and attractions to keep you busy during your stay. These events will give you a summer weekend, and if, like me, you are a bit of both.

For example, we enjoy a visit to the Great Lakes National Park and Indiana State Park. Walk 15 minutes by car to Gary to hike the Miller Woods Trail or explore the Dunning - Douglas Center for Environmental Education. You may also be interested in Indiana's history and history, as well as some of the local history.
